#25 – A Film Gala

Every summer, there is a film camp that is held in my village. It’s called Wakefield Film Camp and it is open to youth approximately ages 11-17 (I might be a bit off on that). Each week a new batch of kids write, produce and create a short film and then at the end of the summer, there is a gala where everyone in the neighbourhood comes out to watch the debut of these films. The organizers wear gowns and tuxedos and there are fancy hors d’oeuvres and wine served in the lobby while the audience mingles.

If you’re interested in seeing these films, they’re a lot of fun and I’ve posted them below to share. I’m quite partial to Camp Caribou, as my boss’ son is in this film and he’s such an awesome kid and it was a really fun film.

So make yourself a little snack and pour a glass of wine and enjoy!
